The GAP portal will show Tier inventories compared to the OEM JIS call-off for the sole purpose of monitoring the days-on-hand levels along with being an aide to form a more tranparent basis for communication. The web portal is by no means a manufacturing or shipping "planning" tool in which to forecast your production/shipment scheduling. The OEM 830/Delfor call-off files that the OEM provides to you will remain as your confirmed order from the OEM to produce and ship the parts to per the timing stated within the 830/Delfor file.

Any discrepancies that you may see between the web portal information and the OEM 830/Delfor call-off files should not constitute a change in your production/shipping schedule. It should however trigger a reaction for the Tier to verify the quantity produced/shipped and place an investigation query to your GAP representative. GAP advises to also discuss the matter with your OEM material planner for clarification.
